During the time we now refer to as the seventies, there was a company that had built up quite reputation building esteemed speakers. Located in California at the time, the name of that company was Gauss, or "Gauss Speaker Company" to be precise, and their speakers were so good that even Fender sold them as better alternatives for several of their own speaker cabinets. Unfortunately, all good things come to and end and, for Gauss, the success-story ended just before the world entered the 1990s. Long story short: props to Avantone Pro for reviving a bit of that classic Gauss sound with the all-new Avantone Pro Gauss 7 active studio monitors!

Some Tech Specs

This premium pair of reference monitors boast a wide frequency response of 30 to 22,000 Hertz, where the highs are tightly reproduced by a special ribbon tweeter and the lows stem from a deep-diving 7-inch woofer. Since no studio space is the same, the back of the Gauss 7 features various calibration options for optimised corner, wall or middle-of-the-room placement. In addition, Avantone have fitted a mini-switch for subtle treble tweaks, finishing a set of supreme studio monitors that serve as an ode to a highly-respected and often-remembered bit of studio-gear history.
